45 year old patient came to consult with Dr Lee regarding implant implant removal. She had textured implants and was concerned about the link to ALCL. Breast Implant Removal: Case 5
61 year old patient from Vancouver, WA who wanted to have her breast implants removed. Her first augmentation surgery was performed 24 years ago. She went from a small B cup to DD cup range and her breasts were much larger than she wanted. She had breast implant exchange with a vertical lift (mastopexy) 9 years later with slightly smaller implants. Breast Implant Removal with Lift: Case 7
65 year old patient from Vancouver, WA. She was originally a small A cup and after 4 breast augmentations and a mastopexy (breast lift) over the years with other doctors she ended up DD cup. The last augmentation surgery in 2015 textured implants were placed and she now had concerns about ALCL that is linked to textured implants. She was also concerned about the size, she feels they were too large. She did have some capsular contracture but without distortion of the breast shape and some sagging of the breasts. Due to the implants being textured the patient decided to have her breast implants removed with total capsulectomy to remove as much of the capsule as possible even though this would leave her mid B range. The patient also decided on a breast lift to raise her nipple area. She is relieved to have the implants removed.

Breast Implant Removal with Lift: Case 8
40 year old patient from Oregon. Her original surgery was a breast augmentation with saline implants in 2005 and she went from a full C cup range to a DDD cup size. She was not sure of the size of the implants that were placed. The patient no longer felt like she needed implants. And she thought they may have been leaking. After Dr. Lee’s examination it was determined that she had some capsular contracture and some ptosis, (sagging). The patient decided to have breast implant removal with a lift. The size of her areolar were also reduced. The implants that were removed were intact and not leaking. The photos were taken 2 months after surgery. She had severe capsular contracture with migration of the implant on the right side and partial deflation and rippling on the left side. 62-year-old woman who was deciding whether to have breast implant exchange or removal. The original augmentation surgery was in 2006 and she went from a 36A cup to 36D cup. However the implants became encapsulated and hard. Due to the fact that that she had significant capsular contracture and therefore there was a high likelihood of recurrence of capsular contracture.
